There's a new contender for the title of world’s unluckiest restaurant.
The management of The Hornet in Denver, Colo., says no one was injured when a car plowed into the eatery in the early hours of Dec. 1, marking the third time this year that this exact thing has happened.
“No really… not a drive-thru,” the restaurant reiterated in a post shared to Facebook on Saturday, along with a photo of the BMW that drive straight through the windows and into the dining area around 2 a.m.

"This year we are cursed," Hornet owner Sean Workman told Fox 31, adding that employees had been working in that area only moments before.
“We had some staff members that narrowly missed it by a matter of seconds,” he said.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital before being taken into custody, police confirmed to The Denver Post.
Another section of the restaurant’s windows had been boarded up at the time of Saturday’s crash, the result of a different car striking the building in November. The management had even spray-painted the words “again, not a drive-thru” on the plywood covering that side of the restaurant after the building was first struck by yet another driver in February.
Now, the new plywood covering the latest damage reads “#ParkingInTheRear,” according to a photo shared to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The same plywood was used to assure patrons the restaurant had reopened as of late Saturday. However, Katelyn Erickson, the Hornet's bar manager, said a significant portion of the dining area needed to remain closed, resulting in fewer available shifts for employees, the Post reported.
“We have [lots] of holiday parties and we don't want to let our guests down. Also, there are 43 wonderful employees here that need to earn a living and we hope the Baker neighborhood will come out and support us. We will keep you posted,” the restaurant wrote on Facebook.

Oddly enough, Denver’s Hornet restaurant isn’t the only eatery suffering from this same unfortunate “curse”: A restaurant in Brockton, Mass., was hit by a car in August, marking the third time such an incident was reported by that exact location in two years.
