Houston firefighters are on scene of a large restaurant fire in the city’s northeast side Tuesday morning.
Crews were first called to the Alma Latina restaurant in the 8300 block of Jensen Drive around 6 a.m. When the first firefighters arrived, they encountered heavy flames shooting from the roof of the building.
Footage from the scene shows firefighters spraying water from a ladder truck into the building as other crews work through gusty winds to put water on the fire.
What sparked the blaze is unclear.
