Bliss Artisan Ice Cream and Pizza has opened their fourth location in Tell City, Indiana. The shop rotates through more than 40 flavors invented by owners Mike and Angie Woodburn. Fast-casual pizza and salads are also offered.

Emge’s Deli and Ice Cream downtown is hosting an appreciation breakfast buffet for Evansville Fire Department and Emergency Services personnel from 8 a.m. – noon Saturday, April 27. The breakfast is free for EFD and EMS employees. Family may accompany and will be charged $5.

Frolic on Franklin is Saturday, April 27 from 6-10 p.m. on the lawn of the West Branch Library. Steak dinner with all the fixings provided by dining establishments on Franklin. Dancing, cash bar and music by the Fanatics. $125 per person. Formal attire is requested.

The Owensboro Convention Center will be hosting a Cork and Cuisine dinner on Thursday, May 2. Five courses of Mexican-inspired food paired with wine and spirits, for diners 21 and over only. Menu includes tamales with mole, posole soup with roasted pork and hominy, baked snapper with tropical fruit salsa, tres leches cake, and much more. Price is $65.25 per person or two for $115.

Pangea Kitchen will be hosting a Venezuelan pop-up lunch on Wednesday, April 24 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Menu options include choice of vegetarian or meaty empanadas (savory turnovers), arepas (stuffed white corn masa patty), and patacon ("sandwich" between two slices of fried plantain.) Guest chefs are a family hailing from Maracaibo, Venezuela.

The Red Geranium in New Harmony will be hosting a spring wine pairing dinner on Friday, April 26. Menu will include cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres followed by a seven-course dinner with selected wines. Menu includes duck rillette with candied kumquats, white miso tuna tartare, coriander crusted lamb chops, cinnamon and orange Japanese cheesecake, and much more. Cost is $95 per person. Attendees will receive a special room rate at the New Harmony Inn if they wish to spend the night.
