Here's the breakdown for recent inspections in Collier County:

LongHorn gets long list of violations

It's uncommon to see a national chain topping the Collier restaurant inspection charts, but LongHorn Steakhouse, 8010 N. U.S. 41, Naples accrued 18 violations during an inspection on April 2. High-priority violations included storing food — including steak — at improper temperatures and potatoes with "mold-like growth" on top of a potato warming oven. An accumulation of a black/green mold-like substance was also found in the ice machine. A second inspection will be required.

Repeat violations at Panda Restaurant

More violations have hit Panda Restaurant, 7550 Mission Hills Drive, No. 308, in Naples after their initial inspection in March. The restaurant was first cited for 21 violations on March 27. While a majority of those violations were basic or intermediate, with some corrected on site, a second inspection was still required. During its followup inspection on April 12, the restaurant was cited for 23 more violations, most of which were not corrected from its first inspection. A third inspection will be required.

More violations

Among the other Collier County restaurants accumulating the most violations in recent weeks were Quail Village Golf Club, 11719 Quail Village Way, Naples with 19 violations; South Street City Oven & Grill, 1410 Pine Ridge Road No. 4, Naples with 18 violations; Vineyards Golf & Country Club, 400 Vineyard Blvd., Naples with 17 violations; Island Gypsy Poolside Cafe, 600 Neapolitan Way, Naples with 17 violations; MiraMare Ristorante, 4236 Gulfshore Blvd., Naples with 16 violations;

Quail Village Golf Club had a followup inspection on April 8. Time was extended on intermediate violations, and a third inspection will be required. South Street City Oven & Grill met standards and passed a followup inspection on April 8. Vineyards Golf & Country Club met inspection standards during its followup inspection on April 12. Island Gypsy had a followup inspection on April 10. A time extension was given on basic and intermediate violations, and a third inspection will be required. MiraMare Ristorante was inspected again on April 10. An administrative complaint was recommended on five violations and a third followup inspection was required.
