Greeley’s newest fast food chain restaurant is all set to open its doors.

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at 4353 CenterPlace Drive in Greeley’s CenterPlace North — just east of Good Times Burgers — displayed a hand-written sign taped to the speaker in its drive-thru indicating the restaurant will be open for business at 10 a.m. today.

According to data collected by QSR Magazine — which covers the fast food market — Popeyes was third in 2017 among fast food chicken restaurants in the country and among a small amount of international locations in sales behind Chick-fil-A and KFC.

The chain was founded in 1972 in New Orleans and its headquarters is in Miami. Popeyes has more than 3,000 locations worldwide.
