Restaurant Shutter
Opal Divine’s Marina is closing, as reported by CultureMap Austin. Its last day at 12708 North Mopac Expressway in North Shoal Creek will be on Sunday, April 21. According to the publication, co-owner Michael Parker can’t talk about the shutter until later in April. Now the only Opal Divine’s that remains in Austin is the Austin Grill location within the Best Western Hotel in South Austin. It shuttered its flagship location at Penn Field in 2016.
Another Mixed Development With a Restaurant
South Congress Avenue is getting another mixed use development building with the upcoming 1221 South Congress. The office/retail building will include a restaurant, though no details were revealed as of yet. It will be found at the front of the State House apartment complex.
Another Hotel With a Restaurant
One of the upcoming hotels set for the Rainey Street district is Lady Bird Hotel, which will open on 62 East Avenue with a restaurant and bar.
