Local chefs offer taste of Inlander's 'Restaurant Week' menu - KXLY Spokane

Restaurant Week: What's on the menu?

Calling all foodies and flavor seekers -- the Inlander's annual 'Restaurant Week' is still a few weeks away but local chefs are dishing up a small taste of their menus -- it might be worth putting your New Year's resolution on hold.

The annual event spans from Airway Heights to Coeur d'Alene and places in between. Wednesday's First Bite fundraiser quickly sold out -- proceeds went directly to Second Harvest. Several restaurants offered samples of their menus including wedge salads on edible pretzel spoons, cougar gold lobster mac and cheese, parmesan croquettes and lemon curd in filo cups.

Between February 21 and March 2, dozens of local restaurants will offer a 3 course meal for $21 or $31.

"One of the great things about restaurant week is that it gets you out of your routine, said  So maybe you're not going to go to that neighborhood restaurant that you normally go," said Inlander contributor Tamara McGregor. "It gives you that extra nudge to try that place you've been hearing about but haven't gotten to yet.
