TRAVELERS REST, SC (WSPA) -- A local restaurant is being recognized for giving back to the community.
Sidewall Pizza Company has been nominated as a local community advocate in the 2019 Toasty Awards. The award celebrates a restaurant that has uplifted its community.
A portion of sales at Sidewall’s four Upstate locations goes to its community fund.
The restaurant has helped many in need.
Families who lost their homes in fires and parents who received a car seat and other items after their baby was critically hurt in a car accident are just some of the many who’ve received help.
Sidewall donated almost 700 stocked backpacks to 26 schools this fall.
Sidewall has two Greenville locations, as well as restaurants in Travelers Rest and Clemson.
