PADUCAH — A man is facing charges after police say he crashed an SUV into a local restaurant.
Around 10:00 p.m. Sunday night, an SUV crashed into the front of the Captain D’s restaurant just off Hinkleville Road in Paducah.
The restaurant is in the Kentucky Oaks Mall area next to Fazoli’s and across the street from Red Lobster.
Davis Mills
Paducah police says 22-year-old Davis Mills was driving 70 miles-per-hour the wrong way down Hinkleville Road just seconds before the crash.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the crash. Police say no customers were inside and all employees were near the back of the store.
Mills was arrested and charged with a DUI for marijuana and criminal mischief. We are still working to find out when his first court appearance will be.
