Fire damages fast-food restaurant - PennLive

A nighttime fire left a Burger King restaurant in North Londonderry Township, Lebanon County, badly damaged Monday.

Fire crews were called to the restaurant at North Londonderry Square off Route 422, just east of Palmyra, at 9:37 p.m., according to county dispatchers.

There, Citizens Fire Company of Palmyra Chief David Dugan said, crews faced a fire that ultimately was traced to an electrical malfunction. The restaurant had been evacuated and there were no injuries, Dugan said, though the business did sustain significant damage.

The Palmyra company was assisted at the scene by firefighters from Hershey, Hummelstown, Annville-Cleona, Campbelltown, Lawn and Fort Indiantown Gap.

All units cleared from the scene at 12:33 a.m.
